I serve as both the operational leader of human resources and the steward of Merced Housing Texas’ purpose-driven culture. Before Merced, I served as the Director of Administration and HR for Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council for Trauma, Chief Operating Officer at the Bexar County Medical Society, Director of Development and Talent, and HR Advisor at SeeKing HR. Outside of work, I enjoy watching basketball and swimming. Going to the beach is my favorite thing to do. Some of my greatest accomplishments include receiving my Certified Mediator and Professional in Human Resources credentials, plus being a part of the first-ever Emergency Operations Activation of the San Antonio EOC during Hurricane Katrina. I have 20 years of experience in Human Resources, along with a genuine passion for people, culture, and creating environments where individuals can thrive. One of my greatest strengths is my Belief theme, which reflects the core values that have shaped my purpose throughout my life. Many of those values—integrity, compassion, service, and collaboration—strongly align with the mission and spirit of Merced Housing Texas.
