I focus on crafting and delivering impactful messages that resonate with our diverse audience and I oversee our social media. Before Merced, I worked for Gemini Ink on a team that made the literary arts accessible to the San Antonio community. I also spent time at Girls Inc. of San Antonio and facilitated STEM programming for girls in middle and high school. Outside of work, I like to tend to my chickens and work on my post-Vietnam War novel. I have an M.A. in Literature, Creative Writing, and Social Justice from Our Lady of the Lake University. I work to amplify not only Merced’s mission, but also the voices of the residents and homeowners we serve by sharing narratives that raise awareness about the critical need for affordable housing, fostering community engagement through social channels, and advocating for all stories and lived experiences.
