I work on coordinating our community impact and volunteer program, establishing relationships through our community partnerships. Before working at Merced, I worked for another housing non-profit for 5 years as a Resident Coordinator. I loved being able to connect and build those relationships with the different communities I served. I love to go on hikes with my husband and 3 pups, and, on my downtime, I really enjoy reading and learning all about National Parks. My goal is to visit as many as I can. An educational achievement of mine is finding out my schooling was paid for with a grant I wasn’t expecting which made me really want to finish up my degree because I felt like it was that extra push. I felt I needed to finish something I had been working so hard to get. I work to foster connections between our organization and the communities we serve, aiming to enhance our organization’s presence and impact to ensure those relationships are nurtured, and always centered back to our core values here at Merced.
